When the leaves start to change and the weather turns, there are so many fun Fall festivities to attend in, and around Pittsburgh. This past weekend, Dom and I took a weekend trip to the Oil Creek and Titusville Rail Road to hop on a fall foliage train ride.
Titusville is just about 2 hours away from Pittsburgh (a little past Grove City) and a nice and easy drive. We headed up early in the morning to make the 11 am train into town. The tickets for this round-trip train ride are reasonable at $20 a person.
We decided to make this a day-trip so after our train ride ended we stopped into the center of Titusville for lunch before we headed home.
Next time you're looking for a fun weekend activity with family, friends, or a date, check out the Oil Creek an Titusville Railroad. Although the Fall foliage rides are over for the season, have a look at their calendar for Winter themed rides!
Go on any weekend trips lately? Where should I head to next?
